Black flake

So I laid the black flake today... No really sure what my feeling is on it. It's very faint with the light reflection. I'm hoping once it's cleared and polished that it will pick up a little more light. We shall see....

Huntington Beach Eliot's sheet metal is coming along... Sprayed the black base a day ago and just laid some copper flake with HOK pegan gold over that to give it a nice orangey gold look. Next I will lay black flake on the rest of tank and fender.

Eliot of Huntington Beach

So I picked up Eliot's sheet metal a few days ago for a new metal flake and scallops paint scheme. I didn't get any photos of it before, totally wish I would have, but I'll be posting photos of it as it gets a face lift! Eliot gave me a general idea of colors and design he had in mind, and is letting me add my own flare to it. Super stoked to get this job going. Finished up stripping the old orange and silver leafing off of it last night. Did a little bit of body work to help hide some of the welds and got it primed today. Next is what I love to do... FLAKE!!! Gonna throw down a copper flake base to work off of. Check back in the next few days to see the progress. Thanks again Eliot for the work...

So today I finally buckled down and decided to throw down some color on the tank for the "Rogue Stiletto".

Started laying the base coats for the "Rogue Stiletto" started with some Orion Silver and laid a shit ton of chrome silver flake over that. Once this drys, I'll start taping it off for the detail of the design. Check back in the next few days as I get more color on the tank.
