Flake

Started laying the base coats for the "Rogue Stiletto" started with some Orion Silver and laid a shit ton of chrome silver flake over that. Once this drys, I'll start taping it off for the detail of the design. Check back in the next few days as I get more color on the tank.

Looking for a stock sportster frame 86 - 93. A buddy of mine decided to see who was stronger... His sportster or the block wall. Even though the wall lost it still trashed his frame. Anyone that might be able to help, message me here or send me an email to Soulchickenspeedshop@gmail.com

Thanks

The seat is done.

So I just got the new seat for the Rogue Stiletto finished up... Turn out nice and will be way more comfortable on the long rides compared to the cobra king I had before. Can't wait to break it in.

Horse Backstreet Choppers Magazine

My good friend Slim called me yesterday and told me to pick up the new Horse Magazine and check out the Born Free 4 article...

And this is what I found.

Stoked to see a shot of the "Rogue Stilleto".

It's kind of a weird picture... Almost like it was taken with a fish eye.... But I'm not complaining

And so it stars all over again...

Now that I fixed the leak in my tank it's time to start the process of the worst thing ever... BODY WORK! Sanding is just shitty. But it's necessary to get a nice canvas to throw down beautiful paint on... So here we go!!!

And after you Sand the first coat... You do it all over again. GREAT!!!

So the repairs begin

I repaired the leak in my tank, unfortunately ha to weld on it and wasn't gonna be able to save the paint. So I decide to go ahead and throw my tank in the bead blaster at the shop. The paint I use here at the shop is amazing. The steel shot in my bead blaster struggled to break threw the clear and top coat. I spun the thing in the blaster for about 45 minutes to get it almost stripped down. It was a bit shocking but goes to show you the quality of the paint put out here at the shop. Next I need to body work the tank a bit and then gonna start the paint process all over. I think I'm gonna change it up a little... Stay tuned to see how it goes!

New seat pan for the "Rogue Stiletto"

I've been ridin around with a cobra king style seat for a few months and damn was it uncomfortable. All the pressure on my tail bone was gettin to me as I put down the miles on my rigid sporty. So I decided I needed some more support on my back and threw this together in the shop today. Check back as I do the upholstery in the next few days... Keepin my fingers crossed it turns out the way I want. One thing I know is it feels so much better riding the wild thunder!
